Turin, 1960. The city that gave the world Fiat, Lavazza, and some of the most daring furniture of the twentieth century. These armchairs emerge directly from that creative hotbed, designed by Franco Campo and Carlo Graffi under their legendary Home label, which operated from 1952 to 1964.

The influence of their mentor Carlo Mollino is unmistakable. Note the skeletal, aerodynamic legs that seem to defy gravity, the organic curves of the wooden frame that suggest both feminine form and aircraft engineering. This was the Turinese school at its most ambitious: furniture as sculpture, function dissolved into art.
