Reus developed his own material, Multylino, by pressing waste linoleum from Forbo's stockpile into a new sheet material with extraordinary visual depth. Each chair features its own unique layered pattern — a barcode of colour created by the random arrangement of source materials. No two pieces are identical. The natural flex in the backrest comes from linoleum's inherent flexibility, while the surface retains the tactile quality of its original purpose as a natural floor covering.
