Set of 3 authentic Pigreco armchairs in beautiful walnut, an icon from the golden age of Italian modernism. These chairs were designed by Tobia Scarpa around 1956-1957 and produced by the legendary Gavina from 1960 onwards.
This revolutionary design features an elegant triangular silhouette: technically four legs, yet the two rear legs are so closely spaced they function as “sister legs,” creating a signature shape. The bent plywood backrest, floating upholstered seat, and minimalist construction combine rationalism with warmth.
The set has been professionally reupholstered with a graphic fabric. The walnut wood shows stunning grain and a lovely patina. A perfect addition for collectors or design lovers seeking an authentic mid-century piece.
