D70 Daybed by OSFALDO BORSANI for TECNO

€3,500.00

This sofa was designed in 1954 for Tecno by Osfaldo Borsani (1911-1985). The D70 is a sofa that can transform into approximately 18 to 20 different positions, from upright to fully flat, making it perfect for everything from elegant sitting to snoozing. This piece features a black lacquered tubular metal frame, brass adjusting details, and typically sports a stylish fabric upholstery. Adjusting the D70 is a breeze thanks to its ingenious mechanism. Borsani’s approach to design is marked by its clean lines and technical innovation; practical, elegant, and a little bit playful - because why should your sofa be boring when it can be a transformer? Don’t settle for ordinary when you can have extraordinary!

If you love a piece with patina and character, you’ll appreciate the current look of the piece we offer. If you prefer your seating fresh, a new upholstery job will have it looking-and feeling-like a mid-century masterpiece reborn.
